Course Information
This online module consists of 4 learning units with a total duration of just over 2 hours. It provides an overview of scientific findings and discussion points regarding Intermittent Hypoxia Training (IHHT/IHT) in the context of common health challenges in older age.

Drawing on research results and selected study examples, topics such as neurodegenerative conditions, cardiovascular health, metabolic syndrome, and age-associated lung diseases are presented. In addition, the mode of action of a complementary hypercapnia intervention examined in studies is discussed.
