Course Information
This module focuses on the effects of Intermittent Hypoxia-Hyperoxia Therapy (IHHT) and Intermittent Hypoxia Training (IHT) on autophagy and various metabolic pathways as described in scientific literature.
The main focus is on autophagy as a cellular self-cleaning process and its regulation via key signaling pathways such as AMPK and mTOR.

Based on selected research studies, the module presents how IHHT/IHT has been examined in relation to the activation or modulation of these processes. The aim is to provide a thorough understanding of the underlying biological mechanisms and to explore scientifically documented links between hypoxic stimuli, autophagy, and metabolic regulation.
